Kirsten has over 24 years of investment management experience. Before co-founding Integrated Quantitative Investments LLC, she was a partner at Man Numeric where she worked on the alternative investment team as a portfolio manager, and was part of the ESG alpha research team. Throughout her career at Man Numeric, Kirsten managed alpha production and data technology teams, researched alpha and portfolio construction, and designed and implemented optimal trading strategies. Prior to Man Numeric, Kirsten was a management consultant at Monitor Company, a lecturer at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and a research analyst at the Harvard Business School. She has an MA from the University of Michigan in Industrial and Operations Engineering, and was ABD majoring in Operations Research and specializing in Infinite Horizon Optimization.
Artemiza has over 19 years of investment management experience. Before co-founding Integrated Quantitative Investments LLC, Artemiza was a quantitative researcher at Man Numeric. Her research efforts focused on alpha signals, data processing, and model construction. Prior to joining Man Numeric in 2015, Artemiza was at Russell Investments for over a decade, where, as senior researcher, she focused on quantitative manager selection. Artemiza has taught courses in finance, economics and statistics at the University of Washington and the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Artemiza has a PhD in finance from University of Washington, and an MSc and BSc(Hons) in mathematics from University of Auckland. Her academic research focused on asset pricing and portfolio optimization. She has published in prestigious academic journals such as the Journal of Finance, Journal of Portfolio Management, and Management Science.
Giorah has over 16 years of experience in portfolio management, risk management and quantitative analysis. Prior to IQI, Giorah worked at several large European asset managers and pension funds including Achmeaas as lead portfolio manager for Emerging Market Debt and ESG and other global fixed income portfolios; APG as senior quantitative analyst on the fixed income team; and European Equities as a senior portfolio manager, co-managing a European SRI equity fund. Before that, Giorah served multiple roles at ING, starting from 2008, in corporate bond portfolio management, risk management and asset allocation for pension portfolio. Giorah teaches finance at universities in the Pacific Northwest. He has multiple publications in academic physics journals. He also serves on the finance committee of a non-profit organization helping the homeless find new homes. Giorah has a PhD in Physics from RWTH Aachen University in Germany, where his research focused on hydrogen-absorption based nanotechnology and solid-state physics.
Shicong has over 8 years of experience in portfolio analysis and management. Prior to IQI, Shicong was a senior portfolio analyst on the US and Global portfolio management team at Man Numeric, which oversaw the US Large Cap, US Small Cap, Global, and Global Low Volatility long-only equity strategies. Shicong has an MBA in Marketing from Boston University and a BA in Economics from Cornell University.
Tim has over 5 years of experience in quantitative research. Prior to IQI, Tim was an Associate Quantitative Researcher on the Strategic Alpha Research team at Man Numeric. Tim’s research spanned a wide range of topics including NLP topic modeling algorithms, ESG-specific sentiment models, deep-learning machine learning models, and sector timing models. Prior to Man Numeric, Tim was a teaching fellow at Harvard University in Applied Quantitative Finance and interned at Susquehanna International Group and WorldQuantLLC. Tim has a BA in Mathematics and secondary in Computer Science from Harvard University.
Noel joined Integrated Quantitative Investments LLC (IQI) as a partner and Head of Sales & Marketing in 2023. He has over 20 years of industry experience in asset management sales and marketing. Before joining IQI, Noel was Global Head of Capital Development at Clough Capital Partners, a Managing Director and Co-Manager of the East Coast institutional sales team at Man Group Plc, and a Director of Business Development for Numeric Investors LLC. Prior to these roles, Noel spent time as a Quantitative Equity Product Analyst and Sales Analyst at State Street Global Advisors and a Principal in institutional sales. He began his career at MFS Investment Management as a Qualified Plans Representative and Operations Specialist. Noel received a B.A. in Politics from Saint Anselm College and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Suriname, South America.
